Post-operative craniotomies for bleed evacuation, AVMs, and tumor resectionsCervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine surgeriesHemorrhagic and ischemic stroke patients as part of our Comprehensive Stroke ProgramHigh volume of cervical and spinal surgery patients, along with medical overflow casesAs part of the Aurora Neuroscience Innovation Institute (ANII) : Gain exposure to the latest neurosurgical techniques and cutting-edge care.

Use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care.Monitor significant changes in patient conditions and take appropriate actions.Implement strategies to enhance patient safety and education.Coordinate discharge planning with an interdisciplinary approach.Evaluate patient, team, and unit outcomes and participate in shared governance initiatives.Demonstrate effective communication, conflict resolution, and teamwork skills.Promote a culture of safety by reporting events and identifying potential risks.Participate in professional development and quality improvement activities.Licensure, Registration, and / or Certification Required :
Registered Nurse license in the state of practice.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by AHA.Education Required :
