Job descriptionHigh school diploma or GED; Associate or technology degree in Civil Engineering or architectural engineering preferred 2 years of related building enclosure field inspection experience preferred Professional certifications (WACEL, ACI and / or AWCI) would go a long way This position requires carrying 40 – 70 lbs multiple times a day or occasionally lifting 85 lbs to waist height Must be able to provide suitable transportation for use on job sites – Mileage will be reimbursed
Responsibilities
- Testing and consulting services for the built environment, property condition assessments, specialized testing, building enclosure consulting, forensic investigation analysis, and design of repairs to existing structures, among other facilities-related services
- Exhibiting responsibility, organization, reliability, time management, and self-motivation
- Performing field and laboratory testing
- Interacting with senior staff members on a variety of projects, as needed
- Promoting a safe workplace and proper use of PPE
