Job Title : Customer Service & Operations Coordinator
Exemption : Hourly non-exempt
Reports : Branch Manager
Salary Range : Based on qualifications and experience
This role plays a key part in supporting both customers and internal teams through accurate order processing, responsive communication, and smooth day-to-day office coordination. The primary focus is on ensuring excellent customer experience and keeping branch operations running efficiently, including some Accounts Receivable and Payable duties.
Responsibilities :
1. Customer Service & Order Processing
- Serve as the first point of contact for customer inquiries via phone and email.
- Enter and process customer and EDI orders accurately and in a timely manner.
- Confirm order details, delivery schedules, and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
- Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure on-time and accurate deliveries.
- Supporting and following up on daily activities for our key accounts
- Maintain strong relationships with customers by providing responsive, professional communication.
2. Office & Administrative Support
Support timekeeping and data entry as needed.Assist with branch reporting and documentation.Help maintain an organized and efficient office environment.3. Accounting / Bookkeeping Support (Backup Role)
Provide backup support for accounts payable, receivables, and basic financial data entry.Assist in processing vendor invoices and payments when required.Maintain accurate and organized records of transactions and check runs.Support the main accounting function during absences or peak periods.Qualifications :
Prior experience in customer service, order entry, or administrative support required.Experience with basic accounting or bookkeeping functions preferred.Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Team-oriented with a willingness to help across functions.Work Environment
