As the Director of Engineering in the Analytics AI organization, you will lead engineering teams in the development and delivery of agentic AI solutions and experiences. You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to fully leverage agentic AI, enhancing the productivity and experience for customers of BigQuery and Looker. You will guide teams in building agentic solutions to propel BigQuery and Looker into the genAI era. You will build genAI solutions that enhance the productivity of business analysts, data engineers, and data scientists. In this role, you will set and communicate a clear technical direction that supports our business goals, drive standards for engineering excellence that lead to scale and customer satisfaction, and effectively collaborate with other leaders across various functions and execution areas.

Responsibilities include leading several teams covering the whole spectrum of data analytics from data organization and data exploration to results, working closely with product management to define the product roadmap and ensure that genAI is used to its full potential, collaborating with designers to create user-friendly and intuitive data analytics interfaces, working with other stakeholders to ensure that genAI-powered data analytics products are aligned with the company's overall business goals, and staying up to date on the latest trends in data analytics and AI.
