Travel Radiologic Technologist | Cardiovascular Interventional Radiology (IR) – Poughkeepsie, NY

Assignment : 13 weeks

Start Date : 10 / 27

Shift : 8-hour days, 7 : 00 AM – 3 : 30 PM, Mon-Fri, rotating call

Hours / Week : 40

On Call : Rotating

Role Overview :

The Special Procedures Neuro Vascular Technologist performs imaging procedures and assists in Interventional Radiology, Neuro Endovascular procedures, and Vascular Surgery (Hybrid).

Responsibilities :

Assist physicians with procedures : patient positioning, sterile tray prep, maintaining sterile field, circulating and scrubbing, drawing contrast, operating / monitoring equipment, and alerting team to patient changes

Verify exams in RIS system, archive to PACS, and manage supply / inventory systems (Hi-IQ)

Daily quality control and inventory management

Follow proper protocols and procedures for patient positioning, department, and hospital standards

EMR : Cerner

Requirements : ARRT Certification

Valid NYS Radiologic Technologist License

NYS Injection License

BLS Certification

Minimum 2 years clinical experience in Radiologic Technology

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Preferred :

Minimum 2 years clinical experience in Interventional Radiology / Cardiology
