Qualifications
Must have
and maintain an active, unencumbered license (LPN / LVN) in the state
in which the clinician will practice
Compact licenses must be
transferred to your state of residence within 90
days
Current CPR
certification (with hands-on component)- Aveanna can assist in
obtaining this requirement after hire, if necessary.
TB skin test (current within last 12 months)
Six months prior hands-on nursing experience
preferred but not required
Must have reliable
transportation

Position Overview
The Licensed
Practical Nurse (LPN / LVN) is responsible for providing and
documenting skilled nursing care, under the supervision of a
Registered Nurse, in accordance with the developed care plan and
physicians orders for each individual patient while adhering to
confidentiality standards and professional boundaries at all times.
Essential Job Functions
for the delivery and coordination of quality patient care in
compliance with physician orders.
and assesses patient condition and care needs and reports changes
in condition to the supervisor and / or physician as appropriate.

Requirements
accredited school of nursing.
state license as a Licensed Nurse in the state of practice
proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation and compliance
with nursing care and policies and procedures
Additional
state specific requirements :
year of pediatrics experience
of experience required working under current nursing license
as a licensed nurse
