Juniper Square offers employees a variety of ways to work, ranging from a fully remote experience to working full-time in one of our physical offices. We invest heavily in digital-first operations, allowing our teams to collaborate effectively across 27 U.S. states, 2 Canadian Provinces, India, Luxembourg, and England. We also have physical offices in San Francisco, New York City, Mumbai and Bangalore for employees who prefer to work in an office some or all of the time.

About your role

We’re looking for a high-activity, results-driven Sales Associate who thrives on outbound prospecting and the challenge of building pipeline from the ground up. This role is perfect for someone who loves the hustle of sales - picking up the phone, crafting creative outreach, and driving meaningful conversations with prospective customers.

You’ll be responsible for generating new business opportunities through a mix of research, outbound engagement, and event participation. Working closely with Account Executives, you’ll strategically target accounts, identify decision-makers, and create qualified opportunities that lead to real growth.

The ideal candidate has a strong “activity drives results” mentality and a genuine passion for connecting with people. You’ll combine strategy and execution - from researching accounts and leveraging AI-driven tools to representing Juniper Square with professionalism, curiosity, and enthusiasm. This is a high-impact role with clear opportunities for growth into an Account Executive position.

We’re looking for someone based in San Francisco who can join the team in our office 3 days a week to connect in person, collaborate, and build relationships.

What you’ll do

Generate and Qualify Leads :

Execute targeted outbound prospecting through calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach to generate new business opportunities.

  • Maintain consistent activity levels : 300+ calls and 200+ emails per week - while focusing on quality conversations and qualified meetings.

Drive Pipeline Growth :

Identify and engage prospects within both assigned and unassigned territories, uncovering new opportunities across the private markets space.

  • Partner with your assigned Account Executives to develop territory strategies, share insights, and align outreach efforts.
  • Leverage Modern Sales Tools :

    Use LinkedIn Sales Navigator, AI-driven prospecting platforms, and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) to build and manage a clean, organized pipeline.

    Spot Trigger Events and Buying Signals :

    Monitor industry news, funding announcements, acquisitions, leadership changes, and other trigger events to identify timely outreach opportunities.

  • Use news alerts, research tools, and social signals to personalize outreach and connect with prospects when interest is highest.
  • Become a Product and Industry Expert :

    Develop a deep understanding of Juniper Square’s platform and the value it delivers to real estate private equity and other private market investors.

  • Confidently articulate our value proposition to senior decision-makers and tailor messaging to their unique needs.
  • Engage in Events :

    Support and attend industry events, conferences, and webinars to identify prospects and build relationships.

  • Manage pre- and post-event outreach - including invitations, follow-ups, and lead nurturing to convert interest into meetings.
  • Qualifications

  • Proven Cold Calling Experience
  • Demonstrated success in a prior sales or business development role that involved daily / weekly calling and emailing KPIs.
  • Experience attending industry events and driving interest
  • Experience with designing and executing outbound campaigns.
  • A track record of consistently meeting or exceeding monthly / quarterly quotas.
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, ZoomInfo, Outreach, LinkedIn SalesNav, etc.
  • Experience or strong interest in SaaS, real estate private equity, or financial services technology.
  • Compensation

    Compensation for this position includes a base salary, commissions and a variety of benefits. The U.S. base salary target for this role is $70,000 - $80,000. Actual base salaries will be based on candidate-specific factors, including experience, skillset, and location, and local minimum pay requirements as applicable.
