Job descriptionCultivating meaningful relationships with both patients and staff Understanding all aspects of how the clinic is most efficiently and effectively run Ensuring that patients feel safe and comfortable throughout the experience Assisting in the performance of quality and caring clinical dentistry Readying the patient and preparing the operatory and equipment Becoming dependably adept at assigned clinical procedures Assisting the doctor during examinations and treatment Accurately recording information in patient charts Reviewing medical history, progress, and scheduling treatment plans Maintaining instruments, equipment, inventory, labs, and treatment rooms Ensuring safety and compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations Setting up coworkers for success by knowing what they need and when they need it Friendly outgoing personality that puts patients at ease Positive, motivated, and self-directed professional attitude Dedicated work ethic with a caring and empathetic nature Strong organization, communication, and interpersonal skills Ability to prioritize duties and coordinate workload in a fast-paced environment Consistently reliable time management for self, patients, and staff Trustworthy judgment and precise attention to detail Integrity and accountability to ensure everything gets done right and on time Dependability to work respectfully in an interdependent team environment Willingness to learn and openness to accepting constructive criticism Patience, understanding, and flexibility in creative problem-solving Emotional intelligence and resilience to tackle new and unexpected challenges Outstanding customer service skills with proven relevant experience Previous experience with chairside dental assisting preferred Coronal polishing / sealant / nitrous / CPR certifications a plus Competitive wages (depending on experience ) Health, Dental, Vision, Life, and Disability Insurance PTO plus 6 federal holidays 401k matched by employer up to 4% (after 1 year) Fun employee outings and team building events Family atmosphere with a positive and supportive work environment Detail-Oriented Quality and precision-focused Outcome-Oriented Results-focused with strong performance culture People-Oriented Supportive and fairness-focused Team-Oriented Cooperative and collaborative
