Job Summary :

As a Payment Processing Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate application and daily balancing of customer payments, whether they arrive via mail, bank lockbox, or electronic transfer.

Key Responsibilities :

• Process and apply payments from various sources to the appropriate customer accounts, following specific application instructions.
• Conduct reconciliations and research for payments that lack clear application instructions.
• Prepare and balance daily bank deposits, ensuring accuracy and promptly addressing any discrepancies.
• Professionalize communication in response to inquiries from both internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with deadlines for monthly closing duties.
• Contribute to the enhancement of documentation for policies and procedures related to your responsibilities.
