- Required : Graduate of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) approved School of Radiologic Technology
- Licensure / Certification : Required : American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) - Radiology (R); California Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license Radiography and Mammography; American Heart Association BLS

Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently to meet deadlinesAbility to handle difficult and stressful situations in a calm and professional mannerAbility to adapt quickly to changing priorities and unexpected situationsAbility to communicate with patients, healthcare professionals, and staff to ensure clear and accurate exchange of informationProficient in the use of mammography and DEXA equipment.Responsibilities :
Demonstrates compliance with Code of Conduct and compliance policies, and takes action to resolve compliance questions or concerns and report suspected violationsInteracts compassionately and effectively with patients providing a Five Star experience by reducing anxieties; provides explanations of procedures and equipment, and answers questionsEscorts patient from sub-wait area to procedure room.Explains procedure to patient prior to beginning exam.Obtains appropriate medical history required (patient and family) before procedure is started.Explains comparative film review and obtains patient film release signature, as appropriate.Performs appropriate screening and diagnostic mammography exams.Completes all required billing and documentation accurately and timely in EHR and PACS.Performs bone density screening as assigned.Maintains cleanliness of all radiology equipment and rooms.Maintains job knowledge per the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) and state regulatory requirements.Follows department timekeeping procedures.Works at main campus and satellite facilities.Get in Touch :
