We are currently seeking a highly motivated Phlebotomist to support our Quality - Clinical Operations team at Astrana Health. This role will report to a nurse practitioner and will focus on closing care gaps for our patients throughout Los Angeles County through performing in-home and in-clinic blood draws, as well as assisting in health screenings through the operation of various medical devices. This is an exciting opportunity to join a new team at a growing company and to take on an expanded Phlebotomist position!

What You'll Do
Support the clinical operations with in-home or in-clinic visitsPerform blood draws and drop off specimens at contracted lab sitesOperate various clinical devices (A1C, eye exams, osteoporosis screening device)Assist with Health Risk Assessments or other pre-visit support for Annual Wellness VisitsProvide quality patient care support to patients in their homes or in clinicComplete scheduled visits in a timely manner, staying organized and managing time effectivelyDocument as necessary in EMRSupport clinical operations team with any ad-hoc tasks in an effort to close quality care gaps for patientsQualifications
Phlebotomist Licensure, minimum of CPTI1+ years of phlebotomy experienceBLS certificationAbility to independently pursue and develop solutions to complex problemsEffective communication skillsExtensive experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)Resourceful and enthusiastic team player with a positive attitude and a collaborative mindset. Always eager to contribute, learn, and grow—without ego.An authentic passion for improving the lives of underserved patients and advancing value-based careYou're great for this role if you have :

This is a full-time position. Hours are M-F 9 A - 5 P.This position will require working 90% of the time in patient homes throughout LA County and 10% of the time in our clinic. The clinic is located at 506 W. Garvey Ave, Monterey Park, CA, 91754.The radius expected for travel to patient homes is within 30 miles of the office. We offer mileage reimbursement.The total compensation target pay range for this role is : $22 / hr - $28 / hr. The salary range represents our national target range for this role.
