JOB OPPORTUNITY : ITS Application Analyst III / ITS Enterprise Business Systems

Hartford HealthCare Corporation seeks a full-time ITS Application Analyst III / ITS Enterprise Business Systems in Farmington, CT to design PeopleSoft (PS) applications and customize and improve their functions for Hartford HealthCare and its affiliates (HHC) and test HHC's systems and applications to ensure proper and efficient functioning by : preparing detailed designs of and configuring, building, and testing application and technical architecture components while collaborating with other PS Developers, designers, and architects to make sure configuration and custom components of newly designed applications meet technical requirements of system and business' performance goals; adhering to security coding best practices; participating in code reviews; remedying defects and performance problems discovered during testing; documenting application design and technical architecture to facilitate maintenance; and assisting in defining and reviewing technical requirements for application design projects, including security, integration, performance, quality, and operations requirements.Qualifications : The minimum requirements for the ITS Application Analyst III / ITS Enterprise Business Systems position are : a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electronics Engineering, Information Technology or a related field of study and five years of progressive work experience in system design, project development and production support for PeopleSoft applications. This role also requires the following : five years of experience utilizing PS 9.1 applications (or newer versions), PeopleTools, PeopleCode, Application Engine, PS / Query, SQR and XML Publisher PeopleSoft development technologies / tools; practical knowledge of Oracle databases, UNIX environment, Shell Scripts, SQL and XML; and working knowledge of PeopleSoft advanced tools such as Application Package, Component Interfaces, Integration Broker and Object-Oriented PeopleCode.
