- Previous outpatient therapy experience
- Epic EMR experience
Description :
This position is for outpatient therapy only.
The shift is Monday to Friday with no weekends.
The daily patient load is approximately 75-90 patients.
The patient population includes adults and pediatric orthopedic patients of all ages.
Some neurological cases may include CVA and developmental delays.
Candidates must possess good critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and social skills for building rapport with patients and coworkers are essential.
Attention to detail is important for this role.
Responsibilities include developing home exercise programs and providing patient family education.
Safety and injury prevention practices must be followed.
Candidates are expected to manage lifting and transfers effectively.
Flexibility and integrity in the work environment are required.
Familiarity with adaptive devices and equipment is beneficial.
Ability to assess and evaluate patient conditions is necessary.
Experience with various therapeutic techniques and modalities is preferred.
The clinician will not be required to float outside their scope of practice.
