The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) ensures high-quality, patient-centered care, directing all functions within the unit / department during the assigned shift. Collaborating with the management team, the CNC evaluates nursing care based on established policies, acts as a resource for staff, and embodies the organization's mission and vision, ultimately delivering superior patient experiences and clinical outcomes.
What you will do in this role :
Assist with admissions and discharges for efficient patient flow and exceptional patient-centered care.Participate in assessing the quality of patient care services provided in collaboration with the management team.Work with subject matter experts to foster a team-oriented environment that enhances outcomes and service quality.Promote a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery as needed.Support the facility's engagement strategies through initiatives like employee and hourly rounding.Contribute to interviewing, selecting, and training new staff; facilitate training / development, conflict resolution, and performance management.Help manage staff scheduling and labor in line with patient care needs and productivity standards.Assist with inventory control and management of supplies and equipment.Qualifications :
Required Experience : 1+ years of RN experience in nursing.Preferred Experience : Leadership experience such as charge nurse roles.Required Education : Bachelor of Science in Nursing or enrollment in a BSN or advanced degree program with completion within 5 years of hire.
