Job description$75.00 per day worked OVERTIME OPPORTUNITY! 7 : 00 am-3 : 30 pm (Mon to Friday) Benefits : Medical, vision and dental insurance Overview : Field Service Technician will support the installation, maintenance and commissioning for gas detection equipment. Responsibilities for Field Service Technician : On-site Technical Services, covering equipment installation, troubleshooting, maintenance and commissioning. Installing electrical devices / gas detecting equipment Running and pulling wire Some termination and wire labeling for devices Troubleshooting gas detection equipment Review construction blueprints and work with Customers, Architects, and Installers to ensure systems are installed properly. 3+ years of experience in electrical or electronic assembly. Occasional exposure to; heat / cold, noise, dust, dirt, and fumes Occasionally lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50lbs. The ability to work at heights on ladders, scissor lifts or roof tops. Regularly sit, stand, walk, bend, talk, hear, and see, use hands and fingers, handle or feel objects, climb stairs and ladders. Technical aptitude, electronics troubleshooting ability. Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite Familiar with FTP, IP protocols, serial communications, and microcontrollers Effective communications skills, both verbal and written Ability to work independently to diagnose and solve problems. High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 3 years of mechanical, electrical or electronic experience. Minimum 1 year field experience as a service technician. Associate degree in electronics or a related technical field OR equivalent military training. HVAC / R experience. Experience with Military Service . Must be eligible to work in the United States Must have reliable transportation to the job site, willing to travel. We are seeking an experienced travelling Field service technician for a long- term, direct hire opportunity in the New England area (CT, ME, MA, NH, RI & VT) PAY :
- $25-27 / h and $25-27 / h for travelling time.
- Lodging and airplane tickets are paid for.
