This position runs from January to July 2026 and requires 84 hours of coverage every two weeks, with rotating 12-hour day, night, and weekend shifts. The provider will work in a 16-bed cardiovascular intensive care unit alongside a team of academic intensivists and advanced practice providers. Responsibilities include performing advanced procedures such as central and arterial line placement, chest tube insertion and removal, bronchoscopy, and pacing wire management. The role also involves comprehensive patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, prescribing medications (DEA required), and collaboration with the care team. BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
