About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Operations to oversee and manage a team of site Project Managers and their respective site teams. The successful candidate will be directly involved in managing project construction activities, job cost analysis, and ensuring the profitability of all projects. This role also involves assisting with estimating bids, procurement, scheduling, and cost control, as well as maintaining effective communication with all project stakeholders. The Vice President of Operations will be responsible for upholding quality and safety standards and will play a key role in the coordination of efforts among the owner, architect, consultants, contractors, and sub-contractors. Applicants for the Vice President of Operations position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a similar field, with a minimum of 20 years' experience in drilled shaft installation and construction. A strong background in the specific construction techniques and systems used by the company, including CIDH piles, support of excavation systems, and micro and mini-piles, is essential. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of at least 15 years as a responsible project manager and 5 years as a responsible estimator. Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills are required, as the role demands a high level of interaction with various project stakeholders.
