Position Summary :

The Director of Business Systems & Data Modernization is responsible for unifying and optimizing Epochs internal business systems. This leader owns the customer relationship management (CRM) and business intelligence (BI) platforms oversees Corporate IT Operations (including Help Desk services end-user device management and identity management) ensures data quality and reporting integrity directs the development of custom web applications and maintains compliance with the Department of Defenses Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC). The role balances hands-on technical oversight with strategic leadership driving cross-functional adoption of our business systems and championing new technologies including artificial intelligence to improve efficiency and decision making.

What youll do :

• CRM & BI Integration. Own the architecture customization and integration of Microsoft365Sales BusinessCentral Dataverse and PowerBI. Build reliable data flows and dashboards that enable consistent reporting and performance measurement. Monitor system stability manage upgrades and ensure high user adoption through training and support.
• Corporate IT Operations. Oversee Help Desk services end-user device management identity and access management endpoint configuration and core IT service delivery. Ensure timely incident response high system availability standardized device provisioning and secure user onboarding / offboarding. Establish operational procedures aligned with CMMC practices for logging documentation change control and incident handling.
• Data Governance & Analytics. Establish data quality and governance policies. Develop unified data models and automated pipelines to provide a single source of truth. Produce KPIs and dashboards for Sales Operations Finance and Delivery enabling datadriven decisions.
• Security & CMMC Compliance. Lead efforts to maintain CMMC compliance by defining roles and responsibilities and implementing security controls across access management encryption endpoint protection and incident response. Coordinate gap assessments and documentation with compliance and legal teams and prepare for thirdparty audits.
• Custom Web Applications. Oversee the development of internal SvelteJS web applications hosted on Cloudflare (using D1 and R2). Define secure software patterns manage API integrations and ensure applications align with data models and security requirements. Implement CI / CD processes and enforce secure coding practices.
• Cross Functional Leadership. Partner with Sales Operations Finance Service Delivery IT and Security teams to translate business needs into technical solutions. Provide clear communication and changemanagement plans mentor internal IT and analytics staff and coordinate vendors and consultants. Encourage the adoption of AIpowered tools and automation to improve productivity.
• Budget Oversight & Financial Management. Develop and manage the business systems budget working closely with Finance to plan forecast and allocate resources. Conduct business case analyses and ROI projections to ensure investments align with strategic goals. Monitor expenditures identify costsavings opportunities and report budget performance to executive leadership.
