Manufacturing Manager

As the Plant Manufacturing Manager you will oversee all aspects of plant operations to ensure production schedules are met with high-quality products delivered on time and within budget while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. By effectively managing production and departmental leaders you will drive performance optimize processes and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Ensure production and shipping schedules are met in alignment with cost quality and safety standards.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to departmental team leaders reinforcing company values policies and performance expectations.
• Coordinate plant activities with department managers to achieve manufacturing objectives efficiently and cost-effectively.
• Monitor production processes to ensure optimal efficiency and adherence to operational goals.
• Manage departmental budgets controlling labor overtime premium freight and repair expenses.
• Enforce company safety programs and policies to maintain a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Quality Assurance teams to enhance maintenance processes and resolve quality concerns.
• Establish and track plant performance metrics for production efficiency and quality assurance.
• Identify and implement process improvements leveraging lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of production and job time records.
