Innova Solutions has a client that is immediately hiring for a QA Automation Engineer position

Title : QA Automation Engineer

Job Type : Fulltime / Contract on W2

Duration : 12 months+

Locations : – Woodbridge Township, NJ 08830 (Hybrid)

As a QA Automation Engineer, you will-

  • Perform quality assurance testing for applications.
  • Automate test cases using Python and other tools.
  • Test over-the-counter (OTC) financial products in capital markets.
  • Work on updating and improving risk applications.
  • Check data accuracy using SQL queries.
  • Help build and maintain the test automation system.
  • Connect automated tests to the CI / CD pipeline using tools like Jenkins or GitLab.
  • Support both current and new application features.
  • Participate in team meetings and work in two-week sprints.

The ideal candidate will have :

  • Experience in QA testing, with a focus on automation.
  • Understanding of financial instruments like equities, fixed income, and derivatives.
  • Knowledge of the front-to-back trade lifecycle.
  • Skills in SQL for data checking.
  • Ability to make a test automation framework.
  • Experience connecting test automation to CI / CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with tools like Jenkins or GitLab.
  • Ability to use a programming language like Python or KSH for scripting.
  • Understanding of Over-the-Counter (OTC) traded products in capital markets.
