Cardiovascular Non-Invasive Technologist - Echo Sonographer - (Cardiac - Echo - Sonography - Sono)

Pay Rate : $2628.22 - $2879.86

The Sonographer will perform various modalities of cardiac ultrasound, including transthoracic echo, stress echo and assistance in transesophageal echo. The role also performs other noninvasive testing, including electrocardiograms and the application of Holter monitors. Sonographer is accountable for the preparations of premilitary interpretation reports for the echocardiograms, billing procedures, study transmittal and coverage for satellite sites.

The candidate must possess RDCS (PE), ARDMS, or CCI certification. Experience in performing various cardiac ultrasound modalities is required, including transthoracic echo, stress echo, and transesophageal echo assistance. The candidate should be proficient in conducting noninvasive tests such as electrocardiograms and applying Holter monitors. Additional responsibilities include preparing preliminary interpretation reports for echocardiograms, handling billing procedures, transmitting studies, and coverage for satellite sites. Experience in a pediatric setting and familiarity with the specific cardiac conditions common in pediatric patients. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

This position is based in Norfolk, Virginia, a city renowned for its lively cultural attractions, historical sites, and diverse events that provide an excellent quality of life.
