$16.50 - $22.00 / hour

Position Summary : Facilitator to work at Children's Aid-Goodhue Center, part-time, providing recreational and educational enrichment activities to children ages 5-11 years old.

Essential Duties :

  • Understand and promote the organization's Mission, Vision, and Core Values to ensure alignment with organizational policies and procedures.
  • Supervision of a group of 15-20 children.
  • Implementing recreational activities for group which would include sports, art, games and other indoor and outdoor activities.
  • Assisting children with homework as needed.
  • Implementing educational enrichment activities with the group.
  • Working with individual children having difficulties adjusting to the program.
  • Attending trainings and staff meetings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications :

  • College Degree, attending college or relevant experience.
  • Key Competencies :

  • Understanding of developmental needs of children ranging in age from 5-10.
  • Demonstration of planning and program skills.
  • Past experience in working with children.

The position's requirements are subject to periodic review and adjustment based on organizational needs and changes in work dynamics.
