Construction Project Manager

PCC is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace.As a Project Manager you will be responsible for managing construction projects.Position OverviewThe Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the life cycle management, financial management, administrative activities and close out of a project to ensure completion to customer requirements within set deadlines.Primary ResponsibilitiesManages all aspects of the assigned project, including production, invoicing, budget, and client relations; to ensure compliance with the project contractManages project procedures, processes, and reviewsLeads & organizes successful project hand-off transition : Budgets uploaded from estimating, subcontractors, purchase orders and vendor commitmentsCollaborates with Superintendents to manage schedules, change orders, project procedures, and equipment resources needed to complete accurate and timely project productionSupports Superintendents with managing the project manpower and milestones for each phase of production, ensuring the accurate and timely completion of project objectivesEngages with all relevant stakeholders proactively, including business partners, general contractors, customers and regulatory bodies that will have influence over project successCoordinates with operations team to identify project risk and negotiate change orders with relevant stakeholders to ensure efficient and effective project productionWhere relevant, presents monthly project reports to the senior leadership teamSupports and promotes project safety by ensuring compliance with the project safety program and required owner safety policies. Reviews weekly safety reports and participates in monthly safety review meetings with project personnelReviews and approves manpower and equipment needs for efficient and effective project productionCompletes month-end financial close : month-end invoicing, WIP, cost transfers, accruals, accounts payable, accounts receivable, financial review etc.Negotiates disputes and provides resolutions with the relevant stakeholdersProvides input on equipment procurement methods and contracts to ensure efficient and effective project productionLeads project closeout procedures, finalizing contract paperwork, obtaining retainages and working with management to resolve any project claims.
