Travel Nurse RN - Progressive Care Unit - $2,290 per week in Manchester, NH

Job Title : Registered Nurse Profession : Registered Nurse Specialty : Stepdown Cardiac Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Night Hours per Shift : 12 Experience : 2 years of experience preferred, with a strong background in Progressive Care Unit (PCU) within the last year License : Valid nursing license required Certifications : ACLS, BLS, EKG test on arrival Must-Have : - ED experience preferred, but not required - No first-timers accepted with only 1 year of experience Description : The position requires the nursing professional to care for inpatient and Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU) Level holds. Candidates should have experience in managing and titrating various drips, such as Lasix, Heparin, Cardizem, Amiodarone, Nitroglycerin, Integrillin, Labatolol, Dopamine, and Dobutamine. The patient population includes those with diagnoses such as chest pain, syncope, heart failure, sepsis, overdose, GI bleed, COPD, and pneumonia. The role will also encompass overflow care for medical, surgical, trauma, oncology, and orthopedic patients when needed. Candidates are expected to manage equipment such as Bipap, CPAP, Vapotherm, Alaris Pumps, and a monitoring system. The role involves interpreting dysrhythmias and arterial blood gases, along with non-invasive airway management. The unit provides interdisciplinary support from teams including IV, physical therapy, respiratory services, social services, pharmacy, and transportation. Candidates must float to different units as necessary and adhere to weekend requirements of every other weekend.
