Job descriptionProven experience in security or surveillance roles (preferred). Strong attention to detail and high level of alertness. Ability to multitask and work calmly under pressure. Familiarity with CCTV systems and basic IT troubleshooting. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Willingness to work shifts, including nights and weekends, as required.
The CCTV Operator is responsible for monitoring and operating the Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) system to ensure the safety and security of people, property, and premises. This role involves observing live and recorded video footage, reporting suspicious activity, and working closely with security personnel and law enforcement as needed.
Key Responsibilities :
- Monitor CCTV systems in real-time to detect and prevent security breaches, vandalism, theft, or any unusual activities.
- Record and review surveillance footage as required by management or authorities.
- Respond promptly to incidents and report them according to company protocols.
- Maintain accurate records and logs of activities, incidents, and equipment status.
- Coordinate with on-site security teams or emergency services when necessary.
- Ensure all cameras and related equipment are functioning correctly and report any technical faults.
- Follow all privacy laws, data protection regulations, and internal policies related to surveillance.
