Job descriptionPEL as School Social Worker as issued by ISBE.\n\t Must have experience as a pediatric or school based Social Worker.\n Competitive salary and benefits available for those working 30 hrs / wk or more. Starting salary varies with credentials. Starting at $37 / hr.\n\t Full time employees have access to medical, dental, vision, and legal services plans. Short and long term disability, life insurance optional. Flex spending and Child Care spending Accounts. 401k plan. (Part time benefits are available and may differ). Paid time off.\n Work schedule will follow school schedule. Most positions are 35 hrs / wk for full time. \n

School Social Worker

\nSocial worker sought for North Suburban Therapeutic Day School for 2025-2026 school year.
\n
\n Responsibilities : \n \n\t
- Ideal School Social Worker will have 2 years school based experience.\n\t
- Conduct evaluations to determine needs and make recommendations to promote positive educational outcomes.\n\t
- Develop, implement and monitor student progress. Primarily work 1 : 1 with some group classes. Currently students include 2nd-12 graders.\n\t
- Plan and provide services directly and indirectly to students, families, staff.\n
