Job descriptionRegistered Nurse for Med Surg Tele Unit. Provides direct nursing care for patients of all age / developmental stages in assigned areas using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Responsible for managing care of assigned patients and directing activities of ancillary staff. Assesses patients' physiological and psychological needs and strengths in a competent and comprehensive manner. Plans, implements and evaluates patients' care plan. Demonstrates commitment to professional practice including those skills necessary to manage a patient care assignment in a cost justifiable manner. Demonstrates leadership skills through performance of charge nurse functions. BLS ACLS CA RN License PALS - strongly recommended
