We are seeking an experienced Senior Tax Accountant - High Net Worth to join our client's team in Greenville, SC . This role involves delivering sophisticated tax planning, compliance, and advisory services to high net worth individuals, families, and related entities such as trusts, estates, and private investment partnerships. This is a great opportunity for a tax professional who enjoys working closely with affluent clients in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Prepare and review complex individual (1040), trust (1041), estate (706), gift (709), and partnership (1065) tax returns

Develop and implement tax planning strategies for HNW clients, including wealth transfer, charitable giving, and estate planning

Analyze financial statements, investment portfolios, real estate holdings, and closely held business interests for tax implications

Assist with multi-state and federal tax compliance and planning

Conduct tax research and provide well-documented recommendations on complex issues

Collaborate with attorneys, wealth advisors, and other professionals as part of a client service team

Maintain and build strong relationships with clients through timely and proactive communication

Supervise, mentor, and review the work of junior accountants and interns

Ensure timely compliance with all relevant tax filing deadlines and requirements

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Minimum of 2 years of experience in public accounting or a tax advisory firm with a focus on high net worth individuals and trusts

Advanced knowledge of federal and state tax regulations applicable to HNW individuals, trusts, estates, and flow-through entities

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills

High level of discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information
