Warehouse Supervisor
Shift : 2nd Shift -2 : 30pm to 11 : 00pm
Salary : $70,000 to 72,000 / Yr

About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and hands-on 2nd Shift Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations, support a high-performing team, and ensure safety, efficiency, and accuracy across all activities. This role is responsible for supervising personnel, coordinating inbound / outbound deliveries, partnering with 3rd-party vendors, and maintaining consistent operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise warehouse personnel to ensure efficient and productive shift operations.
- Communicate responsibilities, goals, and performance expectations clearly to team members.
- Develop and mentor direct reports, promoting teamwork and a positive work environment.
- Work with direct reports to create and implement action plans that improve operational results.
- Partner with 3rd-party vendors to ensure their service meets company standards; address concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with peers and cross-functional departments to share relevant information effectively.
- Monitor inbound and outbound shipments to verify proper receiving and compliance with guidelines.
- Ensure proper use of warehouse space, equipment, and resources for maximum efficiency.
- Maintain a safe warehouse environment by monitoring equipment, conditions, and team performance.
- Review adherence to inventory procedures, product handling guidelines, and company policies to minimize loss.
- Address employee concerns promptly and equitably across all departments and shifts.
- Recommend improvements to warehouse policies, processes, and procedures.
- Oversee employee training, development, motivation, retention, and disciplinary actions.
- Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Competencies
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory processes, and company products / services.Ability to interpret and apply company operating procedures and policies.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong leadership abilities with a focus on coaching, developing, and motivating teams.Problem-solving, negotiation, and conflict-management skills.Ability to stay organized, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.High attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.Ability to build trust, maintain positive relationships, and collaborate effectively with internal and external partners.Ability to conduct effective team meetings and promote group involvement.Physical Requirements
Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, reach, grip, push, and pull throughout the shift.Ability to lift and place items weighing up to 45 lbs onto pallets at various heights.
