The Banquet Houseperson is responsible for assisting the banquet team in the setup, breakdown, and maintenance of meeting rooms and event spaces. This role ensures that all banquet areas are properly arranged according to event specifications, contributing to a successful and memorable experience for guests.

Event Setup & Breakdown :

• Set up banquet rooms and function areas with tables, chairs, linens, and other equipment as specified by the banquet event order.
• Break down and reset rooms following events, returning equipment to proper storage areas.
• Assist with loading / unloading of event equipment and supplies.

This position requires significant physical activity, including prolonged standing, walking, pushing, pulling, bending, lifting (up to 75 lbs), and moving heavy items. Safety precautions and use of appropriate protective gear are essential.
