Position Title : Part-Time Payroll Coordinator

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented, dependable Part-Time Payroll Coordinator (15-20 hrs. / wk.) to join our team. This position is responsible for processing payroll accurately and on time, maintaining payroll records, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.

This is a great opportunity for someone with payroll experience looking for flexible, part-time work in a supportive and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Payroll Specialist to process bi-weekly payroll for multiple locations / employees
  • Accurately enter and maintain employee garnishments, child support orders, and other wage deductions in the payroll system
  • Maintain and update employee payroll records and files
  • Assist Payroll Specialist to verify timekeeping data and resolve discrepancies with managers
  • Respond to employee payroll-related inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Prepare payroll reports for internal and external use
  • Support year-end payroll processes including W-2 preparation and filing
  • Various other tasks as directed by accounting and finance departments as required

Required Qualifications

  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience in the hospitality industry or managing multi-location payroll
  • Knowledge of multi-state payroll regulations
  • Proven experience as a payroll coordinator, clerk, or similar role
  • Familiarity with payroll systems / software (e.g., ADP, or similar)
  • Experience with timekeeping systems
