Inpatient Medical Coder

A company is looking for an Inpatient Medical Coder. Key Responsibilities Assign appropriate ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS codes to complex inpatient visit types Review provider notes and clinical documentation to ensure accurate coding and reporting Collaborate with Clinical Documentation Improvement teams and educate on coding guidelines Required Qualifications Minimum of three years' experience in inpatient coding at an Academic Medical Center Accepted certifications include RHIT, RHIA, CCA, CCS, CCS-P, or CPC Excellent computer skills for effective interaction with providers and staff Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively Strong organizational skills with the ability to follow client Standard Operating Procedures
