As members of CHKD Health System, CHKD Medical Group (CMG) pediatricians work closely with the full range of  pediatric specialists and  surgeons found at Children’s Hospital of The King’s Daughters. As a CMG Pediatrician, your responsibilities include :

Providing high-quality, compassionate pediatric care in an outpatient clinic setting.

Diagnosing and treating acute and chronic medical conditions in children.

Building strong connections with patients and families, and fostering a supportive environment.

Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including subspecialists, nursing staff, and on-call triage.

Ensuring patient care is aligned with best practices and medical guidelines .

Engaging in continuing medical education and professional development.

Board eligible or board certified in pediatrics (if board eligible, certification must be obtained within 2 years of residency completion).

Must possess a valid Virginia medical license .

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care .

Ability to build excellent rapport with children and families.
