Infusion Registered Nurse Per Diem Location Philadelphia PA httpsvivoinfusioncomlocations Compensation 4400 to 4500 hr Benefits Offered 401K with Match Employment Type Per Diem Reports To Clinic Manager FLSA Status Non Exempt If you are passionate about providing exceptional patient care you belong with us The Vivo Infusion team is focused on taking care of our patients and each other We provide opportunities for growth and advancement as well as competitive benefits that support what matters most to you General Purpose of the job The individual in this role assumes direct responsibility and accountability for the direct patient care related to Infusion as well as oversight of unlicensed support personnel in assigned and designated areas This individual provides safe effective and compassionate care that is consistent with State and Federal regulations and Company policies procedures and guidelines and within hisher scope of practice Primary duties and responsibilities Provide direct patient care in a knowledgeable skillful consistent and continuous manner as related to scope of practiceCalculate mix and administer prescription medicationsMonitor patients before during and after infusion treatmentAssist with managing inventory and supply orderingReport and provide patient assessments communicating with the Care Team as indicatedAccurate IV insertionDemonstrate appropriate emergency response following established protocols and complete all documentation in accordance with company policyCommunicate with providers via TelehealthAssist in the implementation of CQI improvement activitiesImplement orders and changes including communication to appropriate disciplinesCommunicate patient condition changes with medical staff and other healthcare team members on an ongoing basisPerform admission assessment on assigned patients as well as an on going assessment Complete the daily runflow sheet review on treatments as assignedAdditional duties and responsibilities Demonstrate competencies in all facilities policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all clinical and technical issuesSupervise assigned unlicensed direct patient care teamEnforce and adhere to all HIPAA compliance policiesEnsure complete and accurate daily electronic charting documentation and reporting in an efficient and timely mannerQualifications To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skill and ability needed Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions Current and valid state professional nurse licensure requiredGraduate of accredited LPNLVN School or Nursing AssociatesBachelors degree requiredCurrent CPRBLS certification requiredMinimum of 1yr IV experienceInfusion experience preferredCertification in specialty preferredCRNI certified RN Infusion a plusMust have demonstrated record of and commitment to safety and excellenceMust possess outstanding communication and interpersonal skillsMust be able to complete accurate dose calculations and mix medications independently on a daily basisAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety requirements operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manualsWork environment and physical demands The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job The physical demands described below are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job The employee is frequently required to sit and infrequently required to stand walk lift andor push up to 50 pounds While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to sit stand;
