A globally leading consumer device company headquartered in Cupertino, CA is looking for a Product Design Engineer to join their dynamic Input Devices team! They support the development of innovative products that form the physical connection between the human body and the technology we seek to operate. The team is seeking someone who approaches problem solving with passion, creativity, and curiosity.

Job Responsibilities :

• Collaborating with industrial designers, hardware, software, product
• integrity, and technology teams to define the vision of a product.
• Exploring multiple product form factors and developing new product architectures.
• Defining kinematic behaviors to support ergonomic optimization.
• Integrating mechanisms, sensors, and other electromechanical components.
• Partnering with internal manufacturing teams and external vendors to
• optimize designs for function, cosmetics, and manufacturability.
• Ensuring design meets requirements through the life of the product
• through stress and tolerance analysis, DFMEA, prototyping, testing, and
• failure analysis.

Duration : 12 months with extension

Pay range : $ 59.00 - $ 74.00 (DOE)
