Licensed Electro Mechanic - 1st Shift

We are seeking skilled

• Licensed Electro Mechanics
• to join our team at Brookwood Finishing in Kenyon, RI. In this role, you will be responsible for performing all electrical jobs (including those with a high level of difficulty) throughout the Plant with minimal supervision, while following prescribed safety rules and compliance with OSHA regulations and NEC.

• Key Responsibilities
• Perform mechanical repairs to machinery
• Control equipment, AC variable drives and D.C. drives
• Set up machinery and equipment as required
• Lay out jobs and perform work toward completion with assistance of other electricians and mechanics
• Care and upkeep all equipment, tools, and instruments
• Maintain necessary records
• Detect and report improper operation, faulty equipment, and inferior quality
• Possess thorough knowledge of daily activities and bring such projects to successful completion
• Requirements
• Active RI Journeymen's License
• Previous experience as an industrial electrician in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Knowledge of single and three phase circuits
• HS graduate or equivalent
• Proficient in shop mathematics, reading blueprints and reading charts / tables
• Follow written and verbal instructions
• Ability to work in a team environment
