Description
Under general direction of the Sports & Conventions Servicing Coordinator the Tourism Intern assists with planning execution and post event follow-up of events and activities associated with tourism conventions meetings conferences sports events and hospitality in the City of College Station.
This is a part-time non-benefited position with flexible shifts Monday Friday requiring occasional weekend / evening hours based on events.

Qualifications
Required :
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program or recent graduate with a degree in related field. Valid Texas Drivers License. Ability to provide excellent customer service. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills to complete daily tasks and a variety of projects Experience working with events / activities demonstrated reliability and work ethic. Experience with Microsoft Office Microsoft Excel Microsoft Outlook. Ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision.
Preferred :
Photography and editing experience.
