50.00 / hr - $63.00 / hr

Position Details

Title : Python Developer

Location : Centennial, Colorado (fully onsite 5 days per week)

Duration : 24+ month project

Compensation : $50-$63 HR

Work Requirements : US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the U.S.

Skillset / Experience : Python Expert, Customer facing experience

Role Overview

The team comprises Automation Architects, Software Development Leads, and Software Developers working on software integration, automation, and orchestration projects. Responsibilities include understanding customer requirements, designing solutions, implementing using Cisco and third-party products, integrating into existing OSS / BSS systems, and providing support and optimization post-deployment.

Collaborations

The team interacts with customers, business units, sales, and technical services throughout project phases, working globally with a small team of software SMEs.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

The Software Developer will work within a small team to build and deliver integration, automation, and orchestration solutions, collaborating with internal teams and customer technical leads. Key activities include :

  • Understanding solution requirements, architecture, design, testing, and deployment.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies.
  • 3-5 years of delivering complex, scalable software projects.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in small teams.

Desired Skills

  • Programming experience with Java, Python, JavaScript, NoSQL, and relational databases.
  • Expertise with XML, JSON, XSLT, RESTful APIs.
  • Experience with SDLC tools like Jenkins, Git, and automated testing frameworks.
  • Knowledge of MEAN stack and BPMN workflow engines is preferred.
  • Experience with Web Services, ESB, and network / software configuration tools like Cisco NSO, Ansible, Chef / Puppet.
  • Knowledge of virtualization, cloud platforms, analytics, AI, machine learning, and networking architectures is a plus.
