The University of Tennessee Health Science Center Department of Pediatrics Division of Neurology is seeking applicants for a full-time non-tenure track Open Rank academic position. Academic rank at the time of appointment will be commensurate with experience and credentials. This position includes clinical care teaching of residents and medical students as well as other academic pursuits and research opportunities. Responsibilities for the position include providing inpatient and outpatient Pediatric Neurology consultation and care in The Epilepsy Monitoring Unit at Le Bonheur Childrens Hospital and interpretation of EEG studies at all satellite clinics in TN AR and MS.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities of this position include education and teaching including didactic teaching and supervision of residents and students research and clinical care. Research or scholarship opportunities include clinical translational or basic research as well as in quality health services and outcomes epidemiology implementation and dissemination research or medical informatics.
Qualifications
EDUCATION : M.D. or equivalent degree and completion of fellowships in Pediatric Neurology and Clinical Neurophysiology or Epilepsy.
LICENSES : Must be Board certified or Board eligible in Neurology with special competence in Pediatric Neurology and Clinical Neurophysiology or Epilepsy. Must be able to obtain medical licenses in the States of Tennessee Arkansas and Mississippi.
