Security Officer

Securitas Security is looking to hire a full time guard to work at a location in Geneseo, NY. Candidate should have their own reliable means of transportation as public transport does not operate during the required days / hours person would be working. Ideally, candidates who apply should live in Geneseo or close by.

The days / hours are Friday through Tuesday 1600-2400. This is a set weekly schedule.

Those who are not licensed with NYS and have a valid guard card will be required to attend three days of training in our Rochester, NY office. Those who are licensed will need to attend orientation at our Rochester, NY office.

Duties include customer service, report writing, interior and exterior foot patrols, camera monitoring and emergency response.

The Security Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Frequently our Security Officers will provide customer service and information to a client's employees and customers.
