Job descriptionWork in a 28-bed inpatient cardiac telemetry unit within a hospital setting Cares for cardiac and vascular telemetry patients, including post-CABG (2-3 days out), cath lab patients, and TAVRs Handles drips such as amiodarone, insulin, nitro, cardizem, and heparin Unit may have med / surg overflow Patient ratios are 1 : 4 on days and 1 : 5 on nights, with potential for flexing based on staffing Uses Epic for charting Day shifts, 3x12 hours, with shifts beginning at 6 : 45 AM Schedule includes various days of the week and weekend shifts as needed No on-call responsibilities Floating required to med / surg units and sister facilities as needed Must wear navy scrubs while on duty Responsible for managing complex cardiac and vascular telemetry cases, including post-procedural care Holiday time off is restricted during high-volume periods Local candidates may be considered at a different rate if living within 75 miles Support from additional staff is provided but candidates must be able to work independently as needed Active CO or compact RN license required AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience Experience caring for cardiac patients required Must be comfortable working in environments with fluctuating nurse-to-patient ratios Epic charting experience preferred First-time travelers are welcome to apply High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts
