PE Licensed Senior Drainage Engineer

A company is looking for a Senior Drainage Engineer for Transportation Infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities :

Independently develops and supervises engineering products that meet quality requirements, including defining problems and establishing work scope

Produces detailed calculations, drawings, procurement documents, and technical reports

Provides technical guidance to CAD Designers, Drafters, and lower-level Engineers on projects

Required Qualifications :

4-year degree in Civil Engineering or a related field

8 years or more of related work experience in road and highway drainage design, preferably with state DOT projects

PE (Professional Engineer) license is highly preferred, or the ability to obtain one

Proficiency in CAD and other engineering software is required

Experience with hydraulic modeling programs and obtaining canal and storm water permits is a plus
