Analysis
Utilize business metrics, client data, application usage data and other sources to inform business decisions related to product requirements. Work with business partners to define and document workflows, process maps and data flows to illuminate needed changes to accomplish project objectives. Work closely with colleagues, product leadership and clients to understand needs and communicate potential solutions Create user personas based on an in-depth understanding of the market and use cases
Planning
Prioritize backlog based on development approach, business impact, project risk and client needs Socialize product roadmaps and plans among key stakeholders Communicate priorities to delivery team and track execution
Executing
Create wireframes or mock-ups to support the vision Convert client needs and product plans into product requirements Write user stories defining specific requirements and specify the acceptance criteria for each user story Serve as the product owner for the Scrum team(s), directly participating in Sprint planning activities and providing regular feedback to the development team Conduct product release planning sessions in partnership with IT and PMO Ensure operating and support structures are in place for the product (including documentation, training, and staffing) Develop plans for product launch including collaboration with marketing and client services
Ongoing Management
Obtain client and key stakeholder feedback on projects
Regularly review and communicate statuses, adoption and effectiveness of projects Order and groom the product backlog continuously
