The clinician will work with a ratio of 1 : 6 patients. The role requires skills in cardiopulmonary management, geriatrics, medical-surgical care, and orthopedics. Experience with adaptive devices, AROM / AAROM / PROM, and patient education is essential. Job responsibilities include assessment, pain management, and safety training for patients. The clinician must demonstrate proficiency with a range of assistive devices such as gait belts and walkers. Knowledge of total hip and knee replacements, and home exercise programs is necessary.
