Experience a collaborative environment where your skills will shine while you work with advanced medical specialties.
Schedule : Full-time, evening shift, 8 or 10-hour shifts (Monday to Friday) with occasional on-call duties (5-8 slots) and 1-2 weekend calls per 8-week period. Call hours may vary, requiring arrival within 30 minutes.
Major Responsibilities :
Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient surgical area. Apply aseptic techniques for preparing materials, supplies, and equipment for surgeries.Perform all types of procedures, demonstrating knowledge of various surgical techniques and instruments.Ensure the operating room's cleanliness, safety, and efficiency by setting up the room for each case and managing equipment.Assist as a Second Assistant when necessary and notify staff of any equipment or supply issues.Transport patients and manage specialty carts, ensuring completeness and availability.Execute patient positioning and transportation tasks while adhering to safety protocols.Demonstrate age-specific care knowledge and the ability to respond to the needs of diverse patient populations.Qualifications :
Licensure : Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (to be obtained within 6 months).Education : Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program.Experience : No prior experience required.Skills Required :
Knowledge of aseptic surgical techniques and operating room equipment.Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.Basic computer skills.Physical Requirements :
