Roblox is looking for an experienced Counsel, Litigation & Discovery to join our Legal team. In this role, you will provide management and support for e‑discovery and preservation. You will report to our Director, Litigation.

Location : The position is seated at Roblox Headquarters in San Mateo, CA. Roblox’s mandatory in‑office days are Tuesday through Thursday with optional in‑office days on Monday and Friday.

You will :

Legal Hold & Preservation :

• Manage and refine the company’s legal hold process, ensuring compliance across all data sources, while “right‑sizing” legal holds to avoid unnecessary retention and associated costs
• Work with IT and business units to ensure defensible preservation of relevant ESI.

For roles that are based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA : The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job‑related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. All full‑time employees are also eligible for equity compensation and for benefits as described on this page.

Annual Salary Range

$207,610 — $247,260 USD

Roles that are based in an office are onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional presence on Monday and Friday (unless otherwise noted).
