Will be a combination of in-home and outpatient clinic Examine or conduct tests to provide information on medical status, analyze records, reports, test results, and / or examination information to diagnose the medical condition of the patient, prescribe / administer treatment, therapy, medication, and / or vaccination. Focus on explaining procedures and discussing test results on prescribed treatments with patients and advise patients and the community concerning diet, activity, hygiene, and disease prevention. NY State License REQUIRED DEA License REQUIRED Experience in community healthcare PREFERRED Cultivate meaningful relationships with patients from diverse backgrounds and communities, enriching your clinical experience and cultural competence. Fill staffing gaps in hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare facilities, contributing to the efficiency and effectiveness of the healthcare system. Maintain a healthier equilibrium between work and personal life, avoiding burnout and stress. Participate in clinical research projects or data collection initiatives during locum assignments, contributing to medical knowledge advancement and evidence-based practice. Utilize locum assignments as a bridge during career transitions, ensuring continuity of income and professional engagement.
