Section Head – Pediatric Hematology / Oncology – New Orleans, LA

Ochsner Childrens Hospital is seeking an experienced physician leader with vision and passion to serve as Section Head, Pediatric Hematology / Oncology in New Orleans, Louisiana.  The successful candidate will join three faculty, APPs and supporting psychologists and social workers to lead and grow this program to increase the number of children being cared for at Ochsner. Additional training and experience in bone marrow transplant and / or stem cell transplant is desirable.  The successful candidate will possess proven leadership, team-building, and managerial experience - and a demonstrated track record of driving successful program growth. Areas of administrative responsibility include physician recruiting, quality of care, financial performance, patient experience goals and medical staff management.
