Job description

Director, Quality Performance and Initiatives

Analyze and coordinate the schedule, timeline, procurement, staffing, and budget of a product or services on a per project basis; responsible for leading Office of Quality Performance team in planning and directing strategic initiatives, program implementation, and care delivery organization (CDO) relationships; responsible for oversight of planning, organizing, and directing the administration of Quality Projects / Strategies to maximize Medicare Advantage Stars in HEDIS, Part D and Member Experience (CAHPS & HOS) according to CMS guidelines; provide leadership to and is accountable for the performance and direction through multiple layers of management and senior-level professional staff; responsible for coordinating with appropriate personnel to meet operational program needs and ensuring compliance with state / federal health plan requirements, Medicare guidelines, National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA), and health plan requirements; provide long-term planning and oversight to ensure activities are appropriately integrated into strategic direction and operations, as well as the mission and values of the company; coordinate and align Quality strategy, and develop the framework for the department staff by creating the required policies and procedures; act as the budget owner and be responsible for the budget planning, forecast and also ensuring the monthly department expenses are within the planned budget; responsible for strategic decision making related to the departmental staffing, staff expansions and alignment in accordance with membership growth of the organization; and act as Business Continuity Lead for the quality department ensuring the work continuity and operations in instances of natural disasters, pandemics or any unexpected emergencies. Telecommuting is available from anywhere in the U.S.

Master's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or a related project management occupation. Experience must include : CMS Stars; HEDIS; Part D; CAHPS & HOS; People Management; Business Analysis; Project / Program Management; Financial Analysis Implementation Planning; Process Improvement / Lean Methodologies; Advance Data Processing; and Risk and Business Continuity Planning.

Rate of pay : $123,000 - $185,840 per year
