About The Position

Job Title : MRI Technologist

Hours per Shift : 7 : 00 AM – 11 : 30 PM, plus 1 eight-hour shift during the week

Experience : 2 years of current MRI experience

License : ARRT (MR) Certification required

Certifications : BLS (AHA)

Must-Have :

GE equipment experience required

Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred

Willingness to work weekends and evenings

Willingness to take call as needed

Must have own vehicle

Description :

Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered.

The role involves utilizing GE HDXT 16.0 and 23.0 MRI machines.

The average caseload is approximately nine patients per shift.

Travelers will always work with a Tech Aide or another MRI Technologist and will never work solo.

After midnight, the department is covered by call.

Requested time off during the assignment must be noted and verified at the time of upload.

No more than five days of requested time off will be accepted; less is preferred.

The shift may include holiday coverage if required.

All scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission.

Requests for time off after submission will not be approved.

Submitting the required work history and skills checklist is essential.

Supervisory signed references from within the past two years must be included.

This position contains potential on-call responsibilities.

The role requires strong collaboration and communication skills.

A commitment to patient care and safety is essential.

The technologist will participate in a team-oriented environment dedicated to quality service.
